Why should i learn programming with my free time, even though in reality i wanted to study mechanical engineering.

I need to clear my doubts

Okay, so I've got a BS in Mechanical engineering, looking forward to an MS in Mechanical engineering. I love programming, I'm learning, and I write code in my spare time. They aren't contradictions, neither are they mutually exclusive. Knowledge of programming is definitely a plus in practicing mechanical engineering, especially if you are planning to specialize in areas like mechathronics or design. So I encourage you to keep learning programming, in fact, learn quickly! 😜

O.o follow your heart. Go do Mechanical engineering if that is your true desire. Learning to code should help future learning efforts though. Practising logical thinking is always a good thing. Good luck whatever you decide
