What steps can I take to become a data analyst with an undergraduate degree in business?

I recently finished my undergraduate degree and I have been teaching myself SQL and python. I would love to have hear everyone's advice on how to become a data analyst.

lots of big data and cloud technology books, with hands on experience with tools like Hadoop , pig, etc etc but i m not sure, let's hear from an expert I m anxious too
