What is the use of the Ruby languages?

I mean, like every languages has its purpose or that language is good at some fields. So where do we use ruby?

Ruby is an "object oriented, dynamic programming language". It is primarily used as an alternative to Python, as they are both used to program web applications. Ruby was used to create Hulu, Twitter, ZenDesk, Basecamp, Shopify, Urban Dictionary, & even GitHub.
