What server you trying to install? Mamo, Wamp or xampp?

xampp , windows is my is os

I'm also trying to install xampp. unfortunately there does not seems to be a 64 bit version of it on windows 7. and make sure your visual studio files are updated as you can run into them with an error during installation.

try using EasyPhp Server. it has the basics of what you need; Apache and MySQl
