I want to become a professional web developer. What steps should i take? I am currently in 12th class.

It begins on SoloLearn. learn the basic core requirements for web designing (HTML, CSS and JavaScript), then heading to something like W3Schools and other E-Learning places on the web for the advanced tutorials.
I recommend using the "Try it yourself" features and practicing each and every lesson until you understand it and feel confident that you can move on. Don't rush it; learn at a speed that suits you.
Create small projects on things you learn to gain more experience.
try viewing other sites' source codes and familiarise yourself with different coding styles, learn from poorly built websites to avoid making their mistakes...
