Is Python helpful in programming embedded systems ?

By embedded systems, I mean Electronic devices, Robotics, Microcontroller. I know, it is used in Raspberry Pi. But how can I use it with other microcontrollers ?

Also, is it as reliable as C language ?

Generally python isn't used for embedded systems and you will want to use C (or Ada or assembly) There are some approaches out there like using python to process data From an embedded application. Alternatively Search a bit for things like Zerynth or Micropython. Good luck!
