Why Machine Learning(ML) for us ??

Give it's important as much as possible..

you can make programs without explicitly programming. suppose you need to make a program to decide wether a pic is of apple or orange. by programming it explicitly you may check color of the pic & size but this is not practical, sometimes actually most of the time even we humans don't clearly know what is the difference between two variety of apples although we may know it subconsciously , its hard to define the difference. Suppose you need to make a program to reverse a string,what will you do?You probably first figure out how to do it, most probable you take a pen & paper, write a string & figure it out & then realize you need to just take last character & put it in first place.Now you will define your logic to the computer. But if you don't know how to differentiate between apple & oranges,what logic will you use. by using ML, you actually train a computer. So now you don't need to actually know what is difference between apple & oranges, computer will do this on its own.

it depends. if you are a beginner & want to do something with ML then i would recommend to learn programming first for some years & then learn more about ML.
