I am learning because it is something I love doing and it stimulates my mind. Also, learning the different languages opens up more and possibly better opportunities career-wise. Not to mention, accomplishing certain goals may be done more quickly and easily with one programming language as opposed to another. So, knowing a few won't hurt.
