Why do I see here only a handful of ruby learners?

Question

I am using sololearn now for sometime, and recently started the ruby course. As an approach of "use what you learn" I tried to solve all given challenges with ruby. While doing so I noticed that I am sometimes the only one to submit a ruby solution, most others are python/c++/js.

Why are there so few, is it because the future of ruby is not so bright?
