I'm curious, have you worked as a dev before? If not check out this book[FREE] on ways to find low paid gigs that can boost your portfolio. 'How to earn $10,000 while learning to code' by Rob Perceival.
You will also get tips on how to scale your work.

not on alot of gigs enough to make a strong portfolio, its mostly been for my circle of friends and I wasnt confident enough earlier to apply for web development jobs so ive also been taking time practising over the year.
I have also tried bidding for a couple of jobs but no luck so I opted to do typing jobs and ppd's.
I am looking to move forward and start focusing on development. Thanks for the link tho, ill look into it.
