Learning or level up in sololearn
how many of you think that people are concerned about earning exps rather than learning... I have seen a lot of people who get happy on level ups even if their coding skill is not developed plz give your opinion on the topic

Gamification is good for a motivator, as long as it does not take over too much time, sacrificing coding time :)

@Ace
Pretty much...
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamification
I know the word as it transpired from English to Polish easily and was one of those rare cases when it actually looked cool, being coined as "grywalizacja" - "gra" is "game" and "rywalizacja" is "rivalry" :)

25–40 percent of learning should be on sololearn;
The rest of it: practicing making actual stuff and using the most official documentation and reputable videos/books;
If anyone settles only for SL challenges, they won't gain much IMO...

Everyone want to code. No one want to learn. Is good to find any motivation to do boring stuf. Anyway there is no way to gain exp in here without increasing coding skills.

I plead guilty to that charge of level up vs learning. I've learnt a lot but I can barely code. Hopefully that will change soon.

I say that people like bool 1 on learning rather than leveling up and becoming Platinum or gold
