W3C Geolocation API

Question

I have been trying to understand the WC3 Geolocation API. Can anyone shed some light on why this does not appear to work in the SL mobile app or Chrome on android. I had thought the problem was one to do with SL not serving pages on https but this does not appear to be the case. @Private [GER] My thanks for your response. I cannot get the SL app or Chrome to work on my Samsung pad but have no problem with Firefox on the same pad. The Geolocation API seems to give mixed results both on the pad and the PC even with Firefox. I find I can recover Geolocation coordinates for most of the day and then get errors (unable to retrieve location) late in the day. Thanks again.

As far as I know the popup asking for permission isn't displayed because mobile browsers don't support advanced permissions.
