What is the best (most easy, most cool..etc) language for you?!

I've been thinking, which language do you like the most? And why? I think it depends on what was learned first ..

For myself, I like whichever one best compliments what I'm working on or will be working on. If I'm never going to use Python, I'm wasting time when I'm learning it, especially if I know the projects coming up are going to revolve around C#.

As for difficulty, that's not something that I take into consideration. Most of the great things in life are challenging and difficult, so I'll gladly take up any challenge and become more from it. If I always took the easy route, I wouldn't have done or accomplished most of the things I have in my life. Easy route creates a habit of avoidance and laziness. We're amazing, intelligent creatures, and we can easily learn difficult things if we focus on them. If you push a little kid to focus on something, they become insanely good at it even at a very young age. It wasn't because it's easy; it's a lot easier to just go outside and play like other kids. However, if that little kid can do it, than why would someone that's older be in a position where a little challenge is too much for them to handle? Get what I mean?

As mentioned, I think whatever tool is best for a task is the best tool -at that moment- but is something that changes with your situations/tasks. As for which languages I enjoy the most, I'm a big fan of Java, C#, and C++. I first learned C++, so I certainly have a bias toward the languages with C-based syntax. However, I've learned a lot of languages and frameworks over the years, and each of them compliment whatever projects I was working on or planning to work on.

Figure out what you want to do in the short/long term, and then do the things that'll best prepare you for that. Remember, everything changes over time, so be flexible and able to move with change.

Mine is HTML. It is simple but can create cool things. It's not always about what language you learnt first. I learnt Python first but then realized that HTML was more of my thing.
