I myself am working on learning Python, but I've got 44 years of experience and 67 languages I've programmed in. I finished Java 3 months ago and don't expect to master it anytime soon, if ever. Most might think I'm an expert, but it would only be because I know more than they do. I know what true mastery looks like and I've only had that in one language. I programmed C++ for 33 years and never had mastery of it.

By mastery, I mean ability to produce near any project confidently.Like we cant be the god of the language, can be?

Mastery to me and lots of others is knowing everything there is to know about a language, the cute tricks that save execution time, the libraries provided, the syntax that makes up the language, and the grey areas to avoid to make understandable code.
I could produce any code now in Python, but haven't learned half of the language. I'd make due with the subset I do know.
