Working for an IT company 'or' being an independent developer 'or' freelancing. Which one of this is best?

-->being an independent developer developing apps for play store or app store or
-->becoming a freelancer.
Which one is the best according to you? Why? What's your opinion regarding this? Reply as much big as you want freely.

I tried 2 of 3 (working in IT, and being freelancer)
And in my opinion it is really depends, if you have no problem with self-discipline, you can be a freelancer, and it can be cool, also it depends whether you have scheduled payments to pay ;) But nowadays a lot of companies support approach when you can work from home and take longer vacations, so it is also kind of similar to freelance. From other hand working in company it is easier to gain some best practices and good experience.
