Web Hosting Giveaway: [9 slots left!] In the spirit of the holidays! (not a question)

Please note that this is intended for SL users only and preferably those that are fairly new to web development/pen testing, but all SL users are welcome.

BE SURE TO READ EVERYTHING THROUGHLY!

I have a few slots in my web hosting package that are not currently in use that I will be offering up to a few voluntary participants. These slots are pre-paid (at no cost to you!) hosting and can be used for educational purposes and/or actually hosting a live legal website. So, what's the catch? Really there is none, but there will be some rules and given this is an open forum it will require some trust on both mine and your part. Trust, on my part has to do with you having access to a section of a server in which I have rights to for the next few years, an email address that will be given to those who are chosen and that those who are chosen will not violate the conditions and terms of service. Trust, on your part has to do with me ultimately having access to the content in which is uploaded by those who are chosen. If you're worried about me seeing, stealing your code etc, please know I've been programming for several years in several languages and I'm not interested in your code. This is just the way the web hosting service works and it's out of my control.

I will be giving up to 10 slots of hosting out.
If you wish to participate I would suggest that you follow this post as I will be posting a temporary email address that will only be available for a short period of time at an unknown time (hopefully within the next 24hrs or less). After which no further potential participants will be accepted.

If you're selected you'll receive an email at the email address provided that will contain a verification code. Post this verification code from the account with the supplied user id.
After verification has been made I'll set up your account and send another email to the provided email address with your login information.

In order to participate you will be required to understand and accept the following rules (subject to change at any time without notice), you will also need to understand and accept the hosting terms of service (link will be provided only to those who are selected), and you'll need to LEAVE A COMMENT (Go ahead and do it now!) (negative, rude, obscene, etc comments will automatically be disqualified and probably blocked! Who's got time for that crap!). Liking this post, or following me is not required, but won't be frowned upon either. (I'm not doing this for any SL Badge. I'm not 2yrs old. lol)

1. Participants may not at any time attempt to "hack" the server or cause any harm to the software or equipment in any way.
2. Participants may not perform any illegal activities regardless of country of origin.
3. Participants may not host, display, or link to any copyright material that is not their own without the express written consent of the material rights owner. This includes, but is not limited to; videos, movies, music, software, ebooks, photos, etc
4. Participants may not host, display, or link to any pornography of any kind, even if the material is owned by the participant.
5. Participants may not use access to the provided hosting to host, display, or link to any hate group material.

Any violation of the above will be cause for immediate account deletion and the destruction of ALL the participants files/data left on their account without notice.

Basically, just be a decent person.

Please note in regards to rule 1 above; pen testing your own hosted website will be allowed, provided it doesn't involve any back door server hacking etc.

Neither I nor the web hosting service provider will be responsible for any loss of data or corruption of files hosted. You're responsible for keeping your files/data backed up and having a back up plan for your site.

@Idrina you don't need to post your temp email address here. When the time comes I'll post a temp email address for a short period of time. You can then use a temp email address to email me the needed information that will also be included in that post. Keep that tab open in your browser and if you are chosen/selected you will receive a email back from me with a verification code that you will then post here to make sure your info lines up with your account. Once I have seen this I will then send the login information along with some other info. So please stay tuned. I will most likely post the temp email when there are at least 10 different User's comments. Thank you, sorry if there was some confusion. I'm just trying to wait until enough intrest has been generated and trying to keep everyone involved as safe as possible by not have anyone post or give any personal information.

If you're planning on linking to an actual registered domain, please have that information in mind when you are ready to submit your admission as it will make the set up process easier. Otherwise, I may have to re-create your slot which may delete all of your files/data. If you're not sure don't sweat it, we'll deal with it when we get to that obstacle.

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them. I will answer what I can. Some questions may only be answered for those that are chosen.

Please note I'm just trying to do something nice for the SL community for the holidays. This is not some official contest, there is no monetary value associated with being selected. There are no winners. If I could do this for all of you I would. If this goes well I may be selecting new participants next year as well.

For anybody who is worried about giving out their email address, I have came up with a work-around so that requirement has now been removed and I am recommending to use a temp mail service for set up.

I intend to allow hosting for a period of up to 1 yr for each participant, however hosting may end prior the 1yr without notice (I'll try to let you know if and when possible if this occurs or is going to occur) and ALL files/data may be destroyed. I may also extend any or all users period of participation without notice.

When the email is posted and you accept the above conditions if you wish to participate you'll be required to send an email with the additional information in the post. The email will only be available for a limited time (30mins-1hr). After which if there are greater than 10 voluntary participants, they will be chosen at random and then this thread will be checked for a corresponding comment by the user. If any of the information is missing, incorrect, the thread post is missing at the time I check it, or the chosen participant can not be reached in a suitable amount of time, they will lose their slot and another may be chosen as a replacement.

You should use a temporary email to send in your admission when the email is posted (see post below for some suggested sites to use). You will, however, need to be able to receive a return email that will contain your selection information. Once you have received your notifying email please make an additional post to let me know you have received it and the community know you have been selected!

I will try to get every selected participant processed as quick as possible, but please be patient. It may take me upwards of a few days to get everyone set up.

I really applaud your ambition to provide free webshosting. However www.infinityfree.net already do provides you free and secure web hosting with the ability to link your register domain name. (not advertising). First of all thank you for such a great giveaway, i didn't had the time to read all the paragraph(s), please provide a brief interview what i have to do inorder to become eligible for the give away.

@Micro Pixels most of the information is rules, terms, conditions etc so please read through them at your leisure. All you'll need to do from here on out (since you made a post) is just wait for me to post a temporary email. At which time you can use a temp email yourself to send in your info. I've posted a couple that both allow you to send a receive. If you're chosen you will receive an email with further info on what to do. That's pretty much it.
