If I create my own website and then wanted to convert my computer to the server then what problems stack in front of me?

How can I face them? Is my computer should be always connected to the internet? Can I create my own domain? Can people search me on google or other browsers? I am in waiting for a right answer! plz write.

Depends of people who want to connect to your server, if you always had people online trying to access to your server, your computer would need to be connected all the time. You can make your own domain. In my case at school my partner and I, we created a WebServer on Linux and we had to configure since zero, we didn't have any experience with servers. Anyway, we only worked as local server, only 3 computer in the sale network, so... I don't know if your server can be accesed through Google, you would have to search on internet to solve that doubt. Greetings :D

Using your home computer as a web server makes your whole home network very vulnerable. It is actually not so complicated to set up a web server at home. What is much more tricky is to keep it safe. Are you willing to take the risk of getting all your home network messed up? I mean, not only the computer used as server but also the kid's tablet or your Android phone that uses the same router's wifi, and also any other computer using the same router could be endangered. Note that even if you are willing to take that risk, you should check whether your ISP (internet service provider) allows this usage of the service it provides you.
