How long did it take you

To all who read this post, how long did it take to learn java to the point of proficiency.

I think I took almost 2 months to complete java. Even I had previouse experience in java , It was little harder, since I dnt have suffient knowledge in OOP concepts. And Dont stop learning even if you completed this course. Java is huge.

How much time per week and per day did you spend on it

I spent times during my intervels on college, lunch breaks, travelling and before bed. I am a engineering student in Computer science. But as i said before I was weak in OOP, but now I m betr :)

I learned it pretty quick due to my previous knowledge of C++ allowed to get used to Java environment easier and quicker. But it should take about a moth or so depending on your schedule of programming and how you learn to program
