What's the programming language the hackers need it ?

Depends. I've heard that a good amount of popular hacking software is written in Ruby. Another source says Python (which is close to Ruby).

Brother,what MILK &KETO Z posted is absolutely true but learning to use those tools will take up a half of the life than where is the time to ware all those COLORFUL HATS It requires *Knowledge of 2 to 3 programming languages *And knowledge of at least 2 OS *Networking n other things..... so if you want to ware a top HAT means just forget it not going to happen Than all u have to do is START SMALL Like hack your own system with other if you succeed then it's the first step towards MATRIX !!!!

Keep in mind that it is different for the different things that you hack. For brute force attacks or repetitive tasks, I would use python, but many use Ruby for that.
