Read only some lines of a file

with open(filename, mode) as fileobj:

Is any 1 can explain this code what is the use of try except when we use with for closing file?

guys i've got a problem in android studio evrytime when i try to create a avd it says null pointer exception null and even the stand alone sdk manager doesnt open due to this exception any solution would be greatly appreciated thanks..

anyone help me pls, i do what the install step said but somehow when i open the cmd, and tap java ( also javac later ) but nothing happen, i thing i may go wrong with the environment step
