Do you think that php better to start with than c++?

I would strongly recommend the first programming language you should learn is object oriented like Java or C#. It will be a lot easier to switch from them to script language like PHP than the opposite

I'm a developper in a lot of programming language like Web language and software language and I agree with Anton !

I began with the C++, C# and JAVA languages and I can say that It's more instructive to begin with the JAVA or C# even if I advice to also learn the C++ language :-)

php is a easy language to learn, but if you want to learn more than just one language by yourself, the answer is c++, once you learned it, the rest will become piece of cake.

no.. learning c++ first will open you up to many more possibilities than learning php...which in my opinion is a good thing..
