What is the string used for?

i was learning and i came across this example problem with the word string? it isnt colored but when i remove it from the void the code gets errors can someone explain?

u must put the data type of the argument when u get it in the function, otherwise compiler wont know what kind of parameter is going to come👌

do you mean a type of #include? what would be the data type
