Yes, not only letter, you can use any substring to do this.

'%land' can retrieve names ending with land and starting with 0 or more letters. Like Disneyland, Switzerland, England, land, la-la land etc.

'land%' can retrieve names starting with land followed by 0 or more letters. Like land, landlord, landing etc.

'%land%' means land should be in middle of 0 or more letters. Like land, landing, England, Abclands, la-la land la-la etc.
