Although, i ve created some stuff and can see a whole lot of difference between how i use to code and think about code and how i do them now, i still feel that maybe i am not ready for a job but because i have never had a job in a programming environment, i dont know what is expected of programmers 2. how do you know when your ready to work as a programmer? how well would they expect me to know python, how many modules would they expect me to know. 3. if you are a programmer, please could you give me some specific ideas about what you do and what is expected of you.

Python is a general purpose language. You can use it in web development (django), data science (sci-kit), AI(tensorflow). As per job requirement, they do not check for how much you know in python but how well you apply it. start using python from a practical, industry perspective. as long as your able to apply in your field of interest, you should be able to make a difference. Knowing other languages is a huge advantage. There is never a draw back in knowing more.
