one of the top notch editors.. its good. However i use webstorm for html css javascript and use phpstorm if i want to program for php along with html, css, javascript. Atom however is free and really competitive and lightweight compared to webstorm but webstorm or phpstorm has way more features and support which makes sure pro developers do quality work

I am just a beginner and I've only used a few different ones to practice but Atom is the one I like best so far. it's a lot less confusing than some of the others.

@Pink Lemonade. I am professional dev and i know how a good IDE can help. Quality work includes bug free code, optimized and robust code, and well structured and documented code and has followed convention. An updated good IDE is always a great help. I did not say it makes a programmer. but it helps to do quality work even with less experience in most cases...

The editor doesn't make the coder, it is merely a tool. Pro developers do quality work, becuase they have experience, thats all you need! use what ever editor you are most comfortable with! personally, I love ATOM :)
