Web Hosting, which one to go for?
I am planning to have a relatively dynamic website online in the next 3 months. But I'm overwhelm with the amount of web hosting companies out there. Is there some sololearn developers who own a website currently online? What are your hosting provider and why did you them? I am more interested in : * Number of domains allowed. * Bandwidth. * Storage. * Price. * Customers Service. * Free SSL * Private IP

@John Doe, you can use any free CDN for your multimedia content and host your basic html CSS HTML at your preferred server,
btw you can also turn your Google drive into a web server by using the services from editey.com
srry no idea about hostgator, I haven't tried any paid service yet because there's no profit involved in any of my sites, but I ll check it out, thanks

Thanks @Morpheus didn't know it can be done with Github, actually I never used except for downloading samples code and a source code to compile.
I'm thinking of learning it soon, sound interesting for simple webpages but my site gonna be a multimedia website, do you think I can achieve it there?
I check namecheap from @Splitty Dev suggestion but they storage policy is a game changer.š

I have a simple website hosted at github pages and a free domain name from freenome.
it's good coz I ve still to learn backend stuffs till then its easy and simple with a added benefit of version control by github and ease of maintenance

I have good experiences with https://namecheap.com
They have affordable domains, offer web hosting and free SSL for a year. You could also use the free cloudflare plan for your website, which will get you free and trusted SSL.
If you don't like namecheap's hosting plans, I'd still buy the domain there. They're great for that.
Good hosting providers are https://digitalocean.com and https://linode.com, both with affordable hosting and a great variety of hosting plans.
