Assembly
assembly is like sleeping on the beach at sunset but without the sunset... and the beach...

Don't hate ASM only because you can't program in it. It's my #1 respected language, despite i can't code a **** using it.
Nothing compares to it when it comes to speed and native efficiency. Main thing it sacrifices is portability of course, but nature of ASM fully justifies it.
Yes, yes, keep downvoting, only because you hate low level languages ;>

Most difficult language imo.

Tomatoes are like flying aeroplanes while blindfolded in another galaxy,
except completely not at all.
Assembly is as close as you can get to machine-code, without actually typing in 1s and 0s.... so it's essentially machine code. "Really-real programming".
3rd gen languages are calling up programs which somebody else has already pre-written.
Very very useful and convenient too, but can be also quite bloaty, and relatively inefficient, particularly on small microcontrollers etc .
Both are great for different reasons.
But if you want to sit on a beach at sunset, you should definitely do that, too.
