Shadow text coordinates

Question

Why when do you point in css (y:10px) shadow shifts down, don't up.Coordinate x works norm.Thanks in advance for the help.

A browser has origin in top-left corner!

+-----------------------------------------> (+ve x-axis)

v
(+ve y-axis)

i.e., when you move down, y increases
