Is ruby popular ? , I think the change of keywords it’s rare, but it’s very elegant and fast .

It's famous for its web framework "Ruby on Rails" and can easily replace Bash-scripts on Linux. Most servers run on Linux, so it's very useful there.

It's also easy to learn and has some elegant shortcuts.
