Why are so many challenges heavy on math?
I've been programming for over 5+ years, I can write an express API using SQL, ArangoDB, whatever db practically in my sleep. But I am absolutely trash at doing math, I literally cannot carry numbers well (probably my ADHD). I find so many of the challenges to be super heavy on math, and I lose them because of it, not because of the actual syntax and etc. So, I ask, why? side note, node "tutorial" would be awesome so I could go ace it ;)

@Daniels That's a very subjective view. I currently work at Box as a backend developer. You don't need to "hold it in your head" and can easily test it via a calculator or via code, algorithms are minimal to implement as well. I'm purely pointing out that the challenges are all math, rather than purely methods and etc.

calling database management programming...?
but the "actual math" here is just logic and simple arithmetic that can be done in seconds.
i don't know what you are complaining about.
programming most of the times IS math, so if you can't do simple stuff, or things that have been explained to you in the course, it's not for you.
