What is the difference between bold and strong in html??

It is little bit confusing between this two tags bold and strong

@Jayden LeCorps you are not right actually) The <b> tag is for "offset text conventionally styled in bold". If you read deeper into the details you'll see it adds, "without conveying any extra emphasis or importance". <strong> is different. It "represents a span of text with strong importance." There is semantic meaning of importance here. In fact, a <strong> tag within another <strong> tag has even more importance. There is nested importance. from html5 docs

not an html expert . but I think strong is a new version for emphasizing text

so the only way for someone to know if a text is bold or strong is to check the HTML text?
