i'd suggest you...
just to get grip to all basic and advanced thoughts side by side...
with python go with c also...
later other languages will be far more easier to grasp at once....
c and python are mostly diff...
but this combo is a killer to get urself going for the long run...

the thing is...some each lang has been made for some specific purposes..or needs...
c++ can run all codes written in c...and also it has more other syntax and functions and rules for its own...
