Different platforms have different goals. SoloLearn teaches all of the syntax but limited features of a language, giving you the ability to keep learning from other sources. Some other sources teach specific libraries and assume you already know the syntax well enough. Some other other ones teach advanced ideas like data structures. These also expect you to know the syntax, and often also want you to be able to write the code in whatever language you choose, with just a description of how it works. So what is the best? At the moment, having a list of sources containing at least one of each would be best, but SL might fill all of these categories soon with the lesson factory (finally) in the iOS app.

No but for a complete beginner sure why not but when it comes to more advance algorithms, data structures, discrete mathematics, graph theory. Again no.
