Is Solo Learn based on material design(by Google)?

Question

Hey,I'm just interested to know that is this app designed on the basis of material design
The shadow of title bar,plus sign( when u go to code section) ,the pencil symbol ( in Q/A section) and the subtle animations on each step are just like as in Material Design...
Also,the ripple effect when we touch any code or lesson is awesome

Did anyone else notice it???
