For creating windows apps which programming language is used ?

Depends on which apps you want to make. But I think that C++ and C# are the better ones... You can use Java also, but Java is kinda dying out, and C++ is much faster. :)

well for creating windows app c# is the most important language you can then create windows apps and software for PC as well as smartphone using visual c++ or visual studio express. moreover all the c languages like c++, c# both can be used for windows app. you can also create by cross platform programming languages like JavaScript, CSS or html and then using Cordova or phone gap to convert it into windows app. but recommended is visual studio.
