Html or html5

Is this teaching Html or html5?

HTML and HTML5, at this point in history, references the exact same thing unless you put it into a particular context, such as "Back in the 90s I knew HTML." As of today, if you notice with the DOCTYPE, HTML5 is referenced as simply HTML. HTML5 is simply referencing the version number, assuming that anyone out there is still like "Yeah, but what about good ole HTML 4? We should do that again." Anyways, you get the point I believe. In the context you're probably reading it in, it's the same thing.

obviously HTML5 as it has a lot of new features and benefits.

Use html 5 just strictly because it is the improved version of html
