How to decide whether I am a front-end or back-end developer? Is it possible to be or do both?

You are a front-end If you work with the client side(view) of a project using visual languages such HTML, CSS, JS, etc.. In the other hand, a back-end developer deals with the building of the server side of the aplication, using any languages that permits you to configure a working architecture to comunicate server and client side. You can work as both, It is a common position called full-stack developer.
