Games require the knowledge of a HLL. You can use C,C++ or java to build games. All you need is a game engine.You can create simple 2d or 3d games with help of game engines.Trt unity 5 or unreal game engine. Both are easy to learn.

with unreal engine, you can create a game without any coding, you need c# for unity
