what about e-waste? Impacts of technological development on environment?

We research, to develop more powerful and efficient hardware then launch it. Hence existing hardware becomes cheap, so now more people can buy them. Then we develop softwares which utilizes that increased computational power to improve user's experience. Now this software runs slowly on older hardware. So eventually everyone buy new hardware after few years. This is like infinite loop! But what about that old hardware , which is now became useless (?) let's discuss about this issue!

Yes. Its good you have concern for that. E-wastes pose a great danger to our environment and again we are responsible for it. Recycling of old hardware should be encouraged!

I never throw away hardware. I keep it just in case there's ever a time that a wire or something shorts out in my new hardware, so that I can use parts of my old hardware to repair the new hardware.
