On the web there are several articles that cover this. The problem is that everyone focuses on an area (either in a specific country or in a specific development field) and therefore they are not entirely objective.

For example, in my city there is not much job offer for developers who use languages like Swift(and in a generalized way not many people usually apply to those positions), but the language usually comes out always in the articles (which are partially focused in the USA). The same goes for Go or Rust, which have been very popular among some niche developers, but outside of this is quite unknown.

Well for Android development you need Java
for machine learning, artificial intelligence you need Python
but then again C C++ is also important since things made in these languages are fast as they are closer to machine code as compared to java, python
