Is there anyway to get user input as the program runs on sololearn's editor, instead of before the program runs?

As far as I know, there isn't, but with the exception of HTML.

With JavaScript, you can use alert() and text fields whenever you please.

Nope, not possible.

SoloLearn's IDE is designed to take input at the beginning of the program.

You can give feedback to suggest a new IDE implementation, but I doubt it'd happen.
