Sublime text - fust, great works with any project, useful plugins (emet=fast coding and others).
Brackets - useful for simple project, more useful plugins (with a choice of colors, able to run psd and use psd styles in code, etc) but it is slow with complex projects

you can use any text editor, but having syntax highlights is very helpful
