Connection question

hello. I would like to know about materials to study about connections in web using login and passwd // and login via apikey , my main idea ( first stage :p ) is create a simple program that print to me connected ( when really connected ) or print me error when wrong connection. and I would like to know if is possible to write in c++. // js and python ( I want to learn to write in both . )sry for my English. and thanks very much !!
