What is better Java or C family(C,C++,C#)

I m student and i cant make choice which language to learn becouse there is speculations that C will disappear becouse of Java influence.

C will always be there. Drivers, Firmware and embedded Systems are usually programmed in C.
Its just the question in which fields you like to program.
Also, usually you won't stay at one Language, so it doesn't matter which one you choose.
you will never stop learning, if you do, you are out of the game ;-)

It's better to choose one language and learn a lot about it, than learn a little of several languages
You most choose based on what kind of development do you need
Online, server side, client side, desktop, mobile, and so on
