I want to study Data Structures and Algorithms. What is the prerequisites?

I don't have any previous knowledge about them. How can i study them? How can i measure my progress?

There are many resources. geeksforgeeks.org has wide range of contents about data structures and algorithms. Read the articles, watch the video and try to implement on your own. Then to brush up your skills and check your progress you can use hackerrank.com If you prefer MOOCs then mit open courseware intro to algo and course on algorithms on coursera by Robert Sedgewick and standford. Pick any one and get started Prerequisite :High school mathematics and basic knowledge of linear algebra, calculus and logic is required if you wanna go with proofs and correctness. Good luck!!

Well I recommend the book Beginning Algorithms by Harris and Ross or just look at the lessons on SoloLearn And the only prerequisite is to know at least one programming language
