How Much a web developer earn

There's no exact answer for how much money a freelance web developer can make - there are several factors that will determine a person's salary. According to salary.com, the median salary (for employees) ranges from about $51,000 to about $76,000 USD depending on level of experience. While the average income of freelance developers isn't readily available information, I've seen some people claim that you can earn up to $150,000 USD as a freelance web developer. This seems a little high for me. I'm sure that there are some people who, while working as a freelance web developer, were able to spike up to this high income... but much more common, in my experience, is an expected yearly income of about $22,000 to $45,000 for new freelancers and $55,000 to $85,000 for well-established freelancers of more than 10 years experience. These figures are based on my patterns of income as well as those of several friends and colleagues who also work as freelance web developers.

I agree with Baraa, those ranges look legit. I also agree that I HIGHLY doubt anyone is making $150,000 consistently, but I suppose if they have enough freelance jobs secured, then it's possible. I wouldn't go into web development expecting $150k though or you may end up disappointed.
I see that you're also focusing on Java and Python. With programming, there are many different directions that you can go with it, and each having their typical ranges of pay. For example, in my area, a senior Java programmer makes around $140-150k/yr, which is a lot. Programmers in the finance area make the most from what I've seen.
