Antivirus problems

okay, so I use code::blocks to code in c++. whenever I run my program my antivirus, avast, scans it, which isn't that big of a deal because everything runs fine but it's become annoying.i was wondering if I could make this stop happening and also keep my antivirus program.

Sounds more like a problem with Avast, which unfortunately I don't have much experience with. I guess there should be an option to turn off real-time scanning for running applications (in the case if it doesn't have one, I'd strongly recommend ditching lol).
