If html is not a prgramming lanuage why we used it?

because have to remember lots of things?

You simply can't use HTML to add two numbers, because it's only a markup language. HTML Elements are the building blocks of the Web Page.

HTML is known as a markup language (that's what the ML in HTML stands for). You can't really program business logic using HTML. HTML is more for specifying the visual parts of a website and its structure. You'd need PHP or some other language to implement the business logic of the website. Most people use frameworks these days. HTML is still good to know though.
