What is the use of head AND body. Don't you just need one??????

the head element is used to preload and determine the language the page will be displayed in, a general style and the title and many other pre loadinh stuff. everything else that is visble in the page is put into the body element.

You definitely need your head and you body. Can your body survive without the head or vice versa? It all makes sense.

The head in html is used to specify the title of the Web page which will be displayed at the title bar. Body contains all the contents of the page

You obviously wouldn't want certain information to be displayed to your user interface. But again, you need to define such information in order to validate (declare) your standards, link sources, meta infos, descriptions, predefined components, etc. Now you wont want all those definitions to be display right before those viewing your site, would you? That's where the head tag comes in handy. It can stored these values and displayed them to SEOs, DOM manipulations, Web Servers, etc.. and at the same time, your viewers wont see whats behind the curtains.
