Can you tell me the meaning and working of % in c++

Then look if you have 14%5=4 because 14/5=2*5+4, number 2 is the greatest value to multiple with divisor. 4 is the rest of the division.

We are trying to get as much 5 from 14 as possible. The rest which we cannot take in all is our result.
